Myths about Mobile design

Smashing Magazine’s post this week, “Think Again: Assumptions About Mobile to Reconsider” makes the point that content shouldn’t be too dumbed down for the sake of a good mobile user experience:

Rather than guessing what the user is trying to achieve on a mobile device, we should assume they want to do everything and try to better understand the constraints of each device. We should be concerned about the content that we’re trying to serve while bearing in mind the context is continuously changing.
